George R. Brokaw

George R. Brokaw is a private investor managing his investments through several private entities since 2013. He previously served as Managing Director of the Highbridge Growth Equity Fund at Highbridge Principal Strategies, LLC (2012–2013), and as Managing Director and Head of Private Equity at Perry Capital, LLC (2005–2011). Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Lazard Frères & Co. LLC (1996–2005). Mr. Brokaw currently serves on the boards of EchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ: SATS), where he chairs the Audit and Compensation Committees; Alico, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALCO), where he is Executive Chairman and serves on the Nominating and Governance Committee as well as the Compensation Committee; and The Chemours Company (NYSE: CC) where he serves on the Compensation Committee. He has previously served on the boards of multiple public and private companies and foundations including the French American Foundation and the University of Virginia School of Law Dean’s Council. Mr. Brokaw holds a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D./M.B.A. from the University of Virginia.
